Terms of Service
Written in plain English on purpose — the rules we actually operate by, not boilerplate.

What the service is
Borrower Radar (operated by Trace) delivers business-lending signals built from official public records — state UCC filing indexes and other government filings. Every signal is dated by the underlying filing and links to the official record it came from, so you can verify anything we show you. The service is sold to businesses, for business purposes, under a workspace account.
Data and sources
Everything in the product is derived from public records: state UCC filing indexes and other official government filings. Every signal links to the public filing behind it, so the source of any record is always one click away. Copy in the product describes what a filing shows — observed financing activity and timing signals — never what a business privately intends.
Not a consumer reporting agency
Borrower Radar is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we provide is a consumer report. The data may not be used to determine any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, or employment, or for any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.
The service carries entity-level business data only. Public filings that name an individual rather than a registered business are dropped at ingest and never reach a customer feed.
Trace is origination and prospecting intelligence — a way to find and prioritize businesses with observed financing activity in the public record. It is not a credit decisioning system, and nothing in it may be used as an input to one.
Lawful use of the data
You are responsible for how you contact the businesses we surface. That includes telemarketing law — the TCPA, the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule, and state calling and do-not-call rules — as well as email rules like CAN-SPAM. Buying a lead from us does not create consent to call anyone.
We hold this line on our side too: federal telemarketing rules (16 CFR 310.3(b)) make a data provider responsible for knowingly assisting violations. If we learn an account is using the data unlawfully, we may suspend or terminate it.
Your subscription is for use inside your own workspace. Reselling, republishing, or redistributing the data feeds — passing leads or signal data on to anyone outside your workspace as a product — is not permitted.
No funded-deal guarantees
A signal is a documented starting point, not a commitment from anyone to borrow. We do not guarantee lead volume, response rates, or that any signal becomes a funded deal. Records come from official government indexes as filed; we link the source on every signal precisely so you can check it, and we do not warrant that a government index itself is free of errors.
Replacement credits
Bad number? Credited within 7 days. If a phone number or email we supplied through contact enrichment turns out to be wrong or disconnected, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we credit the lead.
The credit applies to contact details Trace supplied through enrichment. Details a public filing itself carries (or does not carry — filings do not include phone numbers or emails) are the record's own and are not covered.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Radar bills $79 per month and Radar Pro bills $189 per month; you can cancel anytime — cancelling stops the next renewal and your access runs to the end of the paid period. Both plans work on a daily allocation: each day we deal you up to your plan's number of top-scored leads matched to your credit box and preferences — up to 15 per day on Radar, up to 35 per day on Radar Pro — and Radar Pro receives fresh filings in its allocations a day before Radar.
A lead is held by at most three workspaces at a time — a per-lead cap enforced by the allocation engine, not a soft target. A dealt lead you have not claimed within 48 hours returns to the pool, frees its slot, and may be dealt to another workspace (so over time a recycled, unclaimed lead can pass more than three desks — concurrent holds never exceed three, and a lead is never dealt to the same workspace twice). "Up to" means exactly that: your daily count depends on how many qualifying leads match your credit box that day, and we do not pad allocations to hit the cap.
Billing runs monthly through Stripe; the price shown at checkout is the price you are charged, and your card details never touch our servers. You cancel yourself, any time, through the billing portal — no email required, no retention call — and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, we retry for a short grace period; if it still fails, the workspace is paused (not deleted) until billing is fixed.
Seats
A subscription covers one workspace with up to 5 members. Everyone works from the same allocation and the same credit box; seats are for your team, not for sharing the product outside your business.
Changes and contact
If we materially change these terms, the updated terms are posted on this page — with the date above refreshed — before the change applies. Questions go through the contact page or straight to the founder: yaniv@ybhltd.com.
